The whole family are already looking forward to this year’s trip to Giffords Circus. It has become a family summer-time tradition and we always take along a different group of friends that haven’t seen it before, so we can introduce them to the delights of the “magical village green circus”.
What’s Any Port in a Storm all about ? Well …… “the 2017 Baroque inspired Giffords Circus show. Another great international team including a Cuban troupe, a Hungarian Csikos rider and a Ukrainian flyer. Household favourite Tweedy returns to run amok alongside our fabulous Giffords Circus band. A roaring tempest of a show.”

For an extra special treat, book into the Circus Sauce Restaurant – the very exclusive 60 seat restaurant that follows the circus to each venue ground and where the three courses are served on candle-lit, communal oak tables. Love. It.
This year, Giffords Circus are also running a short story competition where you are invited to pen a story up to 500 words based on theme ‘Any Port in a Storm’. The winning stories will be printed in this year’s programme and will also be read out by Tweedy himself.
