We adore Anorak Magazine here at The Kidology Files.

Published four times a year, it calls itself  the ‘happy mag for kids’ and is aimed at boys and girls aged between 6 and 12 years old.

Anorak is nothing like the standard child’s magazine, it is printed on lovely thick recycled paper and with vegetable ink.  They are filled with fascinating facts and engaging activities and designed to be collected and revisited.  Some of the copies we have sat on the shelves at home have been collected and cherished over a number of years.

The newest edition carries the theme ‘Under The Sea’, perfect for a summer of digging in the sand and paddling in the sea.   Topics explored include what lurks beneath the waves, unusual sea creatures and as always lots of lovely stories and games. Available from 22nd July.
