As you know, we love the Wild Dining plates from Just Mustard, which we featured a little while back (http://www.thekidologyfiles.co.uk/2016/07/03/wild-dining-plates-from-mustard/).

We therefore couldn’t resist also featuring the Wild Dining side plates – featuring the adorable deer, the geeky raccoon, rather elegant lion and the fabulous seal (who looks like something out the ‘60s which her blond hair and groovy dress.)   I have had to the order the deer plate just so I can load it up with blackberries and recreate the groovy hairdo !   Ridiculous, but true.

When our dinner plates arrived, I was torn between hanging them on the wall as a feature as they are so beautiful and I thought they’d make a brilliant addition to our kitchen wall, but our son won out and we used them at his recent birthday party which went down a storm and a proved a great talking point among all the parents collecting their children after the party!

Like their big sisters, the Wild Dining side plates are ceramic.  They are sized around 18cm in diameter, a little smaller than the Wild Dining dinner plates at 23cm diameter.  We’ve found them perfect sized for crumpets and cake on a Sunday evening, or an after school snack.

We’ve also found both sizes of the Wild Dining plates make brilliant gifts among school friends, they are so unique and unusual and they always draw a smile from the recipient.  We’ve also used as gifts for some of our friends, especially perfect for animal lovers and the young at heart among us!
